Eucalyptus globulus essential oil is crude versus rectified Eucalyptus globulus. 

Rectification removes certain chemical compounds and produces an oil with more agreeable and familiar odor, but also results in a poor therapeutic choice.  It also keeps a powerful distinctive odor in comparison with rectified oil.

Oil Characteristics : Mobile, clear yellow liquid with a fresh characteristic scent of eucalyptus.
